Every place along the road has a gold medal for the first rider who gets there. The map is just getting started: almost everything is still up for grabs.

Viewpoints, waterfalls, roadside grills, gas stations, repair shops: everything you know that isn’t on Rutero yet is a gold medal waiting for you. The first one to add it keeps the gold forever, with their photo engraved on the medal. Those who come later get silver, bronze or “route”.
How to play

Ride out
Open Rutero and see what’s nearby or along your route.

Get there and check in
With your phone’s GPS: you have to really be there. +10 points, and if you’re among the first: gold +20, silver +10, bronze +5.

Not there? Add it
Take a photo and add it while you’re there. The gold is yours: +20 points once another rider confirms it.

Earn from every visit
If you hold the gold, every rider who stops there later gives you +3 points. A good place pays off for years.

Weekly, monthly and all-time rankings: by points, kilometers, places or badges. Start a group with your riding club and get notified when a friend heads out or passes you in the ranking.

The more of us play, the better it gets
Rutero is made by riders. Every place you add, every photo and every 👍 helps the next rider know where to stop, where to get gas and where to sleep with the bike safe. Today the map is almost empty: the first players are the ones who fill it, and the ones who keep the golds.
To keep junk off the map: places are added on the spot, with GPS and a photo, another rider confirms them, and those who went vote on whether it’s worth stopping.

Riders stop to eat, fill up and sleep. Add your place for free with photos, prices and menu, and see how many travelers have it on their route. Coming soon: deals that show up when a route passes nearby, and point redemption at your place.
